Shredding Event
The annual community shredding event will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The event will take place in the City Administration Building Parking Lot, 26100 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, 44138 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

With the upcoming winter weather we want to remind all residents that there is no street parking from 2:00 AM until 6:00 AM and when snow exceeds two inches.  Please remember that our snow plow trucks need room to clear our streets.

The Administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday.
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
The Olmsted Falls Park and Recreation Board invites you to the Village Green on December 3rd at 5:00 PM for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Come out and enjoy the choir and of course Santa will arrive on the fire truck !!!!!
LEAF PICKUP
Crews are on their 4th trip through town with the leaf vac.  The last day for residents to place leaves out is November 30th and as usual we will make one last pass the following week.

Veteran's Day is Saturday, November 11th.  Thank you to all those who have served and are serving in all branches of our Armed Forces.  Please remember to thank a veteran.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Tyndall Falls Concrete program has begun and will continue through the end of August.  
West Road repaving from Lewis Road to railroad tracks starting 7/31/23 to 8/7/23. 

There will be no parking on city streets during these construction periods for those street affected.
National Night Out

SPLASH PAD AND BASKETBALL COURTS
Please be advised that the city will close the splash pad and the basketball courts on June 24th at 3:00 PM for the City sponsored Vietnam Remembrance Day event.  Both areas will reopen the morning of June 25th.

Happy New Year.  The City Administration Building will be closed on January 1, 2024.  
TRASH PICKUP DELAY
Trash pickup will be delayed one day due to the holiday.  We will be picked up on Friday, January 6, 2023.  Christmas trees can be placed on the tree lawn anytime. 
In anticipation of the winter storm, the Mayor, Chiefs and Directors will be pro-active in keeping everyone safe by having additional police officers, firefighters, and service workers on duty over the three-day holiday weekend

VIETNAM VETERANS WAR MEMORIAL
Mayor Graven's Vietnam Veterans War Memorial Initiative has officially launched! Support the effort to bring a memorial to the Village Green - honoring "those who raised their right hands" by purchasing a car magnet for a $5 minimum donation.
On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, Mayor Graven proclaimed March 29th as Vietnam Veterans Day in Olmsted Falls. Mayor Graven honored resident veterans Richard McMakin, Rick Adler, Larry Risko and Peter Carpenter for their service to our country and presented each of them with a proclamation.
