Doing Business in Olmsted Falls
The Economic Development Department serves to attract and retain businesses. We work to ensure the City of Olmsted Falls provides opportunities for economic vitality across a wide range of businesses. The City is currently working to develop new incentive programs for large, mid-size and small businesses.
A major point of pride for the City is our historic downtown. Working with the Ohio Main Street Program, we are undertaking the effort to become a certified Main Street community that will revitalize our downtown and make it the center of cultural activity. The Main Street Program is the local level, economic revitalization strategy of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. As the leading voice for preservation, the National Trust is "the cause for people saving places." The history and character of Olmsted Falls are worth saving, revitalizing and sharing and will always be an important part of what makes the City a great place for business.
The department is also responsible for communications and publishes the annual Olmsted Falls Magazine.
