Economic Development

Doing Business in Olmsted Falls
The Economic Development Department serves to attract and retain businesses. We work to ensure the City of Olmsted Falls provides opportunities for economic vitality across a wide range of businesses. The City is currently working to develop new incentive programs for large, mid-size and small businesses.

Olmsted Falls' picturesque downtown boasts several parks and waterfalls and is highly walkable. A new zoning ordinance expanded the historic downtown by 9.74 acres in 2018. This will call for careful development planning that will include mixed-use traditional neighborhoods, offering residential and commercial convenience along with green space and smart streets design. Business and residential development opportunities will be available beginning in 2019. Contact Mayor James Graven, for more information about opportunities. 440.235-5550

The department is also responsible for communications and publishes the annual Olmsted Falls Magazine and biannual newsletters and financial reports.
