POLICE DEPT UPDATE
Mayor Graven and Chief Rogers continue to use tax dollars in a prudent manner to keep officers and citizens safe. We have purchased four new police vehicles during Mayor Graven and Chief Rogers tenure. The city continues to work to equip all officers with the most high-tech, convenient, and fully functional vehicles possible. We have a successful program to annually add a new vehicle. Fleet usage is often mission-critical and the costs of unpredictable performance associated with high-mileage vehicles are greater than the cost of purchasing vehicles more frequently.
