Emergency Responses

In an emergency always call 9-1-1
In 2014 the Olmsted Falls Fire Department responded to over 1000 emergency calls.

Olmsted Falls continues to work closely with the Olmsted Township Fire Department to develop coordinated response plans for fires and emergency medical calls. Since both communities face multiple barriers that could delay the response of Fire and EMS services, an automatic aid policy has been developed that will help to minimize any delays in response.

Olmsted Falls Emergency Medical Service transports are sent to five area hospitals including Southwest General, Fairview General, St. John's West Shore, Elyria Memorial and Metro Health Medical Center.
