SENIOR FLU SHOTS
The City of Olmsted Falls will not be offering flu shots for the 2011-2012 season. Local drug stores are equipped to provide the inoculations and offer a time frame of appointments even walk in's are accepted. Eligible Medicare recipients will receive the shots at no cost. The Cuyahoga County Health Department will provide shots at their site on West 130th Street in Parma, Ohio. Please be aware that the Shingles Vaccine is also available but requires a prescription from your physician.

Library Program
The Adult Services Department of the Cuyahoga County Public Library provides library materials and services to persons who are unable to visit the library due to permanent or temporary disability/impairment. TRANSPORTATION AVAILABILITY
Your health is important to us. Today's busy life often finds us scrambling to find transportation to the doctor. The Senior Outreach Service provides rides to doctor's appointments for homebound seniors when other transportation's are unavailable.

Senior Transportation Connection bus service is available to the City of Olmsted Falls resident and Olmsted Township residents and can be reached at 1-800-983-4782. The senior center has applications available for service call 440-793-6118 and the Director will send you the application.

Southwest Van Service is available free of charge to residents of the City of Olmsted Falls taxing district. Transportation will be provided for all doctors appointments, whose offices are contained within Southwest General grounds facilities, including Life Works (for prescribed therapy), Strongsville Medical Center on Pearl Road and Brookpark Medical Center. Operating hours are 9:00 a.m. - last return at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 440-816-4046

St. John Medical Center provides transportation for procedure not requiring anesthstetic, and prescribed therapy. They require 24 hours advance notice and provide service to St. John Medical Center, Westlake Family Health Rehab, and North Ridgeville Lab and X-ray. Available to Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Township.
