I am excited to be your Council President. There is no greater service than to serve
one another. I look forward to using a common sense approach to addressing the issues that impact our city and your neighborhood. It is an honor
to serve in the community that I grew up. I have personally seen and witnessed many changes in the last 20 years with the construction of so many new developments. While some may view this as a negative, I
feel we are now a real community, which has become home to many
families all looking for a safe, secure place in which to live,
raise our children, and call home.
The real challenge before us is to enhance our business community in a way that provides the goods and services our citizens need withouth distrupting our historical significance and heritage. We need to make it easy for business to do business here in order to spread the tax burden over a larger base. As the owner of a business located in the City of Olmsted Falls, for over 30 years, I manage over 12 full-time employees. I know and understand the economic benefits that even a small business such as mine brings to the City.
I encourage you to attend our City's Council and committee meetings. There is no better way to stay informed of the decisions that are being made that directly impact the community in which we live. I would ask that you get involved in your community using your God-given time, talent and treasure to make this a better place to live. There are many ways to do this as we are blessed with many excellent civic and school organizations. You will find many of them located on this website.
