The City of Olmsted Falls has a strong commitment to citizen participation as evidenced by the number of citizen boards and commissions established by City Charter. These bodies compose a formal system through which citizens can advise City Council on all major issues affecting the City.

Boards and commissions are responsible to City Council and appointments are made by the Mayor and approved through a Council vote. Anyone interested in serving on a Board or Commission should contact the Clerk of Council, The Mayor or the respective Board or Commission to express interest and submit a letter outlining the reasons for their interest and how they can be contacted.
